Formatting

These formatting guidelines are extremely important.  You cannot recieve credit without following them!

Also do not forget to make all photos black and white!

To Receive Club Credit:

  • Gain 5 credits over the course of the school year (minimum of 2 before 2013)
  • An article with a picture is 1 credit
  • A well-made photospread or other odds & ends submission is typically 1 credit, but the offical credit amount is decided by the editor
  • Mailbox stuffing is worth 0.5 credits
  • Attend a majority of meetings

Be Aware!

  • When writing articles, you are writing for the next month.  If it is September when you are writing your article, then it will be printed in the October issue!  Articles topic choices should be relevant to the month in which they are to be printed.
  • All photos submitted should be BLACK AND WHITE.  This can be done on many online websites or desktop programs.  If you are having difficulty, ask an editor for help!  Here are some good websites and applications:

Here is a great desktop application to download: http://picasa.google.com/ Also great for making photospreads!
